At the top of the page is a region/country flag and a hlep icon, together with the name of the establishment.
There are also Department Tabs across the top of the page, so the manager can monitor what is happening in other departments.
Important ! : You may see unexpected results in the trial version e.g Unexpected orders appearing. This is due to the fact that everyone using the trial version is sharing the same application. This means that anyone else using the trial version as a "Customer" can create orders that will appear on your screen. This is not the case when you create your own account. Once your account is created, you are using your own password protected copy of the program for ONLY your restaurant. Only you know the password. You also have your own dedicated and secure area for trading, data, backups etc.
Orders Tab: All customers orders are logged on the sytem and are shown on the Orders Tab. Because some orders must be processed differently by the establishment staff (e.g Orders to eat in "Where: EI" must be treated differently to orders that are take away ("Where: TO"). Each order has this embedded code which tells the system what processes and messages to send out. As each order is processed, the status of the Order is updated so the tracking system, and customer knows where the order is.

Forward button
All starters, main courses and deserts, (when the forward arrow button is clicked) are sent to the kitchen for preparation. This is dependant on the throttling sytem setting. This prevents the kitchen becomming overloaded with orders. The amount of throttling (Throttle Number) can be changed on the settings page. The reason for the order separations is so the manager can quickly invervene, eg, running out out lamb shanks or requesting more information about the cooking of a steak.
Other Buttons:
Close Restaurant
It is not possible to close the restaurant if there are occupied tables. In other words all customers need to have paid before you can close the restaurant.
Auto This button will set the system to automaticaly processes the customer orders. This is useful should the restaurant Manager not be able to personally vet the customers orders e.g If He/She intends to be away from their desk or if the manger owns or manages more than one restaurant. Setting this to auto will ensure the continued operation of the restaurant.
Note: The "Orders tab" must be the active (visible) Tab for this to work.
