The Customer Options Page initially starts in Menu Mode.
It is split into three views, Menu, Order and Bill. It initially starts by asking you to select a menu or it shows the default (A la Carte) Menu.
Other important customer information is shown in the local time box. This box shown is Local Time, the venue logo, whether the venue is closed or open, any cutomer messages and the customer loyalty discount
1) Menu:
This screen is the initial view. Select your choice of menu from the "Menus" drop down. View and select items from the menu. Once you have made all your selection(s), you need to preview your order and send.
Add to order: If you wish to add to your order just select the extra item(s) from the menu, select preview, send, and this will be added to your order.
Change quantity to order: Select the "Qty" and change it - Your bill is automatically recalculated
Discounts: If you have given us your contact email, then you qualify for the Loyal Customers Discount. The amount of discount can be seen on the Local Time box at the top of the page. The amount of the discount is also shown on the Order Preview Box.
If you want the discount and it is showing as 0% then return to the previouse screen and agree to the special offer.
Menu descriptions: There are currently five Menus (see examples:) all of which provide you with a comment box where you can specify your preferences or special instructions. Use this box to specify "rare for your steak", "extra ketchup and mustard please" etc...
1) A la Carte Menu - Each menu item has a price and you select what you want to order.
2) Menu del dia - Fixed price generally covers 1 drink, two courses and a sweet.
3) Breakfast
4) Sunday Lunch
5) Carvery - Fixed base price for carvery, depending on whether you order 1, 2, or 3 courses.
6) Drinks Only
* Note some inapropriate menus may be disabled depending on venue.
2) Order:
This screen shows you what food is in progress (i.e. what you have ordered and where it is.) If you change your mind, you can delete any order item from your food order when you are using the "Order" tab. If you want to substitute or order anything else, go back to the "Menu screen" and select what you want from the menu and resend your choice.
3) Bill:
When you have finished your meal and you have requested the bill (button at bottom of page), selecting this view will immediately (No waiting) show you your bill. At this stage, if you disagree with any food item on the bill, you can still goto the "Order tab" and remove any items you wish and the bill will automatically be recalculated.

Change Venue
Should you wish to change your venue (for whatever reason)
Re.Seat Table
Should you wish to move to another seat
(e.g. too near the door, too cold outside).
Just press this button and enter your
NEW table number.
The system will
check that the new table is available (i.e. it does not have any customer reservations). It will also move any existing customer orders, to that new table number.
Request Cancel Order
Send Message to Table Staff
This is an immediate messaging system to the Table Staff. Use this for example if you want another fork, more tomato ketchup or want to send your food back because you are not happy with it. Do not use this for ordering food or drinks.
Request Next Course
This message is sent to the service
staff so they can clear the table and bring the next course.
Request Bill
Once
all your order has been delivered to your table, then this button will display your bill on the "Bill Tab". It will also alert the service staff to come to your table and take your payment.
Customer Options Page - Table Staff Help
On arriving at this page, you will see your Service Colour (A shade of red).and the "Service Icon". You have all the facilities that the customer has, but you will see a few more for your use. To Return food to the kitchen for whatever reason:
1) Go to the "Orders Tab" and delete that particular food item (this will also remove it from that tables bill).
2) Bring the food back to the kitchen.
3) Goto the menu Tab for that table and reorder that food item.
4) At this point the Kitchen will see another order for that item at that table. The food item is now back in the system.
5) The kitchen will decide whether the problem with the food can be remedied or a new dish needs to be prepared.
6) Either way, when sorted, the kitchen will notify the Table Staff that the food is ready for dispatch to the customer.
